The job of Technology Support Technician is to provide technology support services to and be responsible for maintaining and supporting technology equipment and to assist in the support of the user community and the research and resolution of user oriented problems.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

-High school diploma is required. 

-Associate degree in computer science or related field is preferred.

-Extensive experience with technology to include PCs, laptops and common office applications.

-Experience with user support.

-Demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team atmosphere.

-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7, Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2007.

-Advanced knowledge in the installation, troubleshooting and repair of Pcs, laptops, printers and other peripherals.

-Advanced knowledge of Active Directory networks.

-Advanced knowledge in the installation and troubleshooting of business and education software to include office productivity applications and Ghost Backup & Restore.
