Position Summary:  

  • The Technology Support Specialist is responsible for customer satisfaction of technology users, problem determiniation/diagnosis and resolutions, call routing if necessary, logging, and follow-up with customers to ensure satifaction.

 

Education/Certification:

  • Associates Degree or Bachelor of Science/Barchelor of Arts from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or  related field preferred.

  • Years of experience may be substituted for education.

  • Apple Macintosh Technician Certification and/or Windows certification is a plus.

 

Special Knowledge/Skills:

  • The ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms with all levels of management and staff

  • Ability to remain calm and courteous in periods of stress

  • Ability to work with users having a broad range of experience levels

  • Knowledge of both Macintosh and Windows computer platforms

  • Working knowledge of personal computers and applicable software

  • Knowledge of Telecommunications
