Primary Responsibility: Provide support, maintenance, and vision within and between the data systems at Hamlin. Ensure an excellent user experience for Hamlin constituents by assessing user needs and adjusting content as needed.
Regular Work Schedule: Full time: 12 Months

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Serve as primary contact for Hamlin’s information systems. Including: Blackbaud (K12, Financial Edge, Raisers Edge), Ravenna, Connect 5, FACTS
2. Work in coordination with Hamlin employees to train, manage and maintain all constituent databases (i.e. alumnae, board of trustees, current parents, employees, and students,) and Single Sign On plugins.
a. Maintain & monitor student data in BlackBaud K12 and manage the data flow between Hamlin systems (BlackBaud and Ravena).
b. Define standard practice and oversee flow of information between Hamlin’s various constituent management systems
3. Research, recommend and implement technology systems to support Hamlin administration.
a. Install, configure, and help maintain school-wide technology systems.
b. Oversee vendor relationships
c. Ensure the ongoing maintenance, backup, and repair of school’s software
d. Stay current on trends in K12 administrative and educational technology
modules systems
4. In coordination with the technology team, conceptualize and roll out annual training on the BlackBaud K12 system.
a. Create unique training programs to meet the needs of the various Hamlin departments, including, but not limited to: teachers, division heads, Extended Day staff, office staff and athletics director.
b. Annually train and retrain faculty, staff, parents and students on HamliNet use, upgrades, changes and best practices.
c. Create, annually update and distribute training videos on the basics of using the BlackBaud systems
5. Webmaster manage and maintain the integrity of Hamlin.org and HamliNet presence:
a. Design new Hamlin.org webpages as needed
b. Bi-annually review and update all Hamlin.org images
c. Manage and maintain all passwordprotected areas with the exception of
d. Communicate with section leaders as needed and enforce deadlines
e. Assign proper website permissions and roles to faculty and staff
f. Configure HamliNet settings, online classes, academic schedules, learning
g. Maintain Resource Board in conjunction with Communications Manager
h. Collect and analyze user needs, interaction and feedback
i. Based on user needs analysis, develop recommendations and implement using written content provided by Hamlin faculty & staff faculty class pages (to be overseen by division heads) profiles, official notes and eportfolios updates
6. Manage & maintain school-wide student system accounts
7. Support the development office with management of external website design (i.e. campaign microsites and event and auction sales sites).
8. Contribute to the ongoing dialogue regarding educational technology and technology trends while supporting and coaching Hamlin faculty in improving teaching & learning through the thoughtful use of technology.
9. Contribute to the conversation regarding budget planning for the school’s IT needs.
10. Support the Information Technology Manager with the maintenance of school hardware.
