Technology Teacher
Dwight School is seeking a full-time Technology Teacher for a leave replacement position immediately.
The daily responsibilities of the Technology Teacher are to:

Teach multiple sections of design-focused technology classes in grades 6-10.
- Work with faculty on the increased integration of purposeful technology in their curricula, refreshing existing curricula with innovative uses of technology where appropriate

Develop and deliver internal academic technology training for teachers across divisions

Model innovative technology use for other Dwight faculty members
- Mentor students through Dwight School’s Spark Tank incubator program
The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

Teaching experience in one or more of the following disciplines: computer science; design; engineering; library and media; technology

Experience working in a school with a 1:1 program

Experience with the IB Middle Years Program Technology/Design (preferred)

Ability to work collaboratively and collegially with a diverse community of students and educators
- Ability to contribute positively to the community with patience and humor
