Certifications Considered:

• Any Business or Office Education certification
• Technology Applications
• Technology Education
• Secondary Industrial Arts
• Secondary Industrial Education

Industrial ISD is a District of Innovation and exercises innovation in the following area:

TEC 21.003 Teacher Certification

Innovation Strategy: Industrial ISD proposes to occasionally hire personnel exempted from certification requirements to fill positions within the District. This will provide the district the opportunity to expand course offerings in response to student interest and proficiency. This strategy will also enrich the applicant pool in many CTE courses. This will not be applicable to special education or bilingual teachers.

Therefore, candidates who hold a Texas Teacher Certificate as well as candidates qualified in this CTE area (Business and/or Technology) will be considered.
