Technology Teacher (Part-time)
Greene Hill School (GHS) is a newly established progressive independent school for children ages four to fourteen. It was started in 2008 with a single class of four and five-year-old students. Now in 2016, there are 150 children up through 7th grade.
We actively involve families in their children’s school and children in their own education. We promote learning through an interdisciplinary curriculum, appreciation of critical thinking and open-ended investigation of neighborhood and beyond. Founded with the understanding that community is the backbone of society, Greene Hill School guides children to become dedicated members of a diverse, democratic society.
Greene Hill School is dedicated to achieving a racially and economically diverse balance of children and families reflecting the Fort Greene and Clinton Hill Brooklyn community. Understanding that tuition is often a barrier to diversity in independent schools, it is the goal of Greene Hill to keep tuition reasonable with a sliding scale based on income. In this way, GHS maintains a learning community that is representative of the rich cultural and socioeconomic community in which GHS resides.
