Technology Teacher/IT Coordinator

Riverbend School in South Natick, a Montessori school serving students pre-k to 8th grade is seeking qualified candidates to teach computer curriculum in grades 2nd through 6th (5 classes per week) and support the technology inquiries of the faculty, staff and students.

Teaching Duties and Responsibilities

Teach keyboarding skills and basic computer terminology to 2nd and 3rd grade students
Teach MS Office docs, Scratch, PowerPoint presentations i-movies, and Internet research to 4th-6th graders
Maintain all Computer Lab equipment
Assume other responsibilities as needed by Specialist team
Technology Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities

Serves as main point of contact for external IT consultants and internal employees and students, including direct troubleshooting of hardware, peripherals and software issues.
Support Windows and Macintosh computers, printers, iPads, peripherals and audio-visual equipment. Provide technical & audio visual support for all-school and class meetings as needed
Support a variety of software including Google Apps, MS Office, Adobe Suite and other educational software
Organize and maintain devices and software
Communicate with end users and tech team
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree + 1 year teaching experience or equivalent
Knowledge of basic networking
Well organized and timely communication with faculty, staff, students and vendors
Flexible and collaborative team player
