Upper School Technology Teacher

La Pietra - Hawaii School for Girls is seeking a temporary part-time teacher for the following class: 

DESIGNING FOR TOMORROW
Digital communication is at its height in today's world. This course will teach students how to combine their communication and technology skills, software engineering, entrepreneurship skills, and the use software tools to create products such as games, videos, mobile applications, Google apps, etc. Students will also learn how to brand and market their products and services through business marketing strategies, branding, and social media marketing strategies for their product launch. Open to grades 9-12.

Work hours for this position are 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm, Mon-Fri with possible adjustments for special schedules. The employment term is Jan 2 - Mar 9, 2018. 

A successful candidate will hold a BA or MA in Educational Technology or a related field, have teaching experience with upper school students preferably in an independent school, and be knowledgeable and grounded in best practices of teaching technology.
