Director of Application and Web Systems Development
Job Summary/Purpose: |
PURPOSE: Supervise and oversee a range of information systems utilizing general knowledge of and involvement with programming languages, operating systems, data base management systems, data communications systems, software and software system analysis. Manage the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Ellucian Banner, a comprehensive student information system with additional integrated modules. Also, oversee the College web development team. Assist in day-to-day administration of technology department activities, such as short-term projects, scheduling, data and integrity management, staff training, and department management. Physical Demands and Other Ergonomic Requirements: |
Working hours are typically Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on some occasions, after regular work hours. Incumbent must be able to function effectively indoors in an office environment engaged in work of primarily a sedentary nature. Requires the ability to sit or stand at workstation for extended periods. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms. Requires near visual acuity to write, read written materials and computer screens, and sufficient hearing and speech ability for ordinary telephonic conversations. Occasional lift or transport of items up to 50 pounds. All individuals are required to be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. |
