Manager, Digital Learning
MANAGER, DIGITAL LEARNING, Office of Digital Learning (ODL), to support course teams as they plan, develop, and implement digital projects with faculty. Projects range from complete online courses for delivery on edX to individual learning modules that support MIT on-campus courses. Will serve as project manager for MITx courses, including coordinating efforts between the course team and MITx staff, working with course team and edX to resolve any policy questions, and serving as a primary point of contact for all parties; work with course teams and MITx director to communicate policy issues with edX and resolve; serve as knowledge expert regarding MITx shared services and training for faculty, course team, and staff; create supporting internal and external facing documentation; work with MITx colleagues to develop course team training; maintain project management system with task assignments for all courses; maintain course records in the MITx database; and perform other duties and projects as needed.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: a bachelor's degree or higher; at least three years' related job experience, ideally in higher education working with faculty and staff; knowledge of and practical experience with project management; and comfort working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and iterative environment.
