The Nashua School District is seeking a Technology Integration Assistant with strong interpersonal skills to promote increased student achievement in the classroom through the use of technology, while providing a safe learning environment. Candidates must have the ability to integrate technology skills on a developmental level for students, into the teaching-learning process, and have a clear commitment to meeting the needs of all students. The successful candidate is proficient in the use of technology through educational or work experience and possesses an ability to manage and engage students in the learning process.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Technology Integration Assistant supports curriculum delivery using technology as a tool for skill acquisition, application and enrichment and will also perform routine hardware and software maintenance, troubleshooting when necessary. The Technology Integration Assistant assists in the day to day operation of the Computer Lab, supervises and assists students with projects and assignments to acquire and improve computer skills in using software and hardware. This position reinforces and assists media specialists and classroom teachers’ integration of technology with other content areas and the implementation of the District’s technology plan. Confidentiality of student and family information and maintaining positive interpersonal relationships with school personnel, students and their families are expectations for this position. Other job related tasks may be assigned by Building Administrators.
