District Technology Support Technician

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma required; Associate degree preferred

• Ability to perform manual work requiring some physical strength and agility to include significant

• climbing on ladders, stooping, bending, etc.

• Experience using advanced technology, preferably in a network management capacity

• Experience in general troubleshooting of hardware and software

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Experience in providing staff development in the operation and use of technology preferred

• Experience in an educational environment preferred

• Demonstrates in interpersonal skills with staff

• Able to travel among locations

• Outstanding references from current and former supervisors

• Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report

Salary Range:        Support Salary Scale, Group 3

Length of Contract:    12 months/8 hours per day

Starting Date:          2018 - 2019 School Year

College transcripts, three references, and a copy of appropriate credentials should also be submitted during the application process.
