WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

As Director for Enterprise Applications, you will play a key role in delivering the value of a more strategic approach to information technology. Working with the CIO and the Senior Management Team (SMT) you will provide leadership in the development and support of essential university enterprise applications such as the student information system, sponsored projects and research compliance system, various data warehouses, and various ad hoc business applications.

Using your strong interpersonal skills, you will work with colleagues across campus who are involved with enterprise service domains including Finance services, HR and Payroll, Research Administration, Student Services, as well as many other diverse administrative functions. Using the expertise of our partners, you will drive the university toward improved and more efficient solutions.

As a highly motivated and visionary leader, you will manage a staff of thirty professional staff. You will act as a driving force of change to improve the university's practices in enterprise application development and architecture. Your enthusiasm to continually stay on top of the latest industry products and technologies will foster an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A master's degree from an accredited institution

  • A minimum of 10 years of significant professional experience

  • Professional activity at the national level

  • Experience in a large, complex, distributed organization

  • Technical expertise in one or more of the enterprise application service areas

  • Proven track record of focus on user experience and effective service outcomes

  • Shown experience leading teams in the selection, implementation, support, and improvement of complex IT systems across a variety of hosting environments (cloud and on-premise), infrastructures, architectures, technical frameworks, and support models and

  • Demonstrable experience leading complex budgets and creating new resource capacity within an existing team structure.
