Information Technology Network Specialist
Position Summary |
The Department of Geosciences seeks an Information Technology Network Specialist to maintain a diverse computer environment (workstations and servers; Windows, MacOS, Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS), Website Maintenance (Drupal, PHP, MySQl, Apache). This analyst will perform system security and administration, network security and administration, database design and maintenance. In addition to workstation/laptop software/hardware end-user support, must know or be willing to learn web site and web application development and maintenance. The analyst will work directly with end-users in order to maintain all workstations and plan for future needs. Minimum Qualifications |
Five years of progressive information technology experience in area of assignment which may include systems administration, network systems administration, applications design/development, database design/development or administration, must know or be willing to learn web site design/development or administration, business analysis and/or workstation/end-user support OR, and Associate’s degree in Information Technology or a related area AND four years of progressive information technology experience in area of assignment which may include systems administration, network systems administration, must know or be willing to learn web site design/development, business analysis and/or workstation/end user support; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education. |
