The Director is responsible for assisting the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Student Services in implementing the educational mission of HCC.  The position requires the supervision and evaluation of the faculty and staff members in the division as related to the standards and expectations regarding load and annual performance reviews.  Duties include implementing activities from academic, strategic, and annual plans regarding facilities, curriculum, staffing, communication, budgeting, credit scheduling, and outcomes assessment, while following Academic Affairs goals and initiatives, and adhering to HCC policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Salary Range: Grade 16 - $68,741 annual salary or greater depending on background and experience 

Position Available:  October 2018 

Education and Experience: 

Education and experience - Master's degree in engineering, technology or computer related field required; minimum five years related experience to include teaching, management, and supervision; and curricular experience. Specifically, some experience with faculty observations and evaluation, curriculum development, engagement with Student Learning Outcomes Assessment. Skills and abilities - Strong organizational, advising, and counseling skills. A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and administrators required.
