Tech Integration Specialist - Long Term Sub

Mid October 2018 to Mid-March 2019

Responsibilities for supporting teachers and specialists:
Provide training or one-on-one support in using technology for lesson design and student assessment, including effective teaching and learning strategies

Responsibilities in the classroom include: 

• Provide student support in technology-integrated lessons across the curriculum led by classroom teachers

• Manage the keyboarding program for 3rd-5th-grade students, providing in-classroom instruction to support students in achieving keyboarding proficiency

• Promote and facilitate digital citizenship lessons 

• Deliver a comprehensive digital literacy curriculum in conjunction with the Lower School Library/ Media Resource Specialist

• Support the students and teachers in Chandler's Coding and Maker program.

• Manage shared digital resources for K-5 classroom teachers

This position requires successful collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, including, but not limited to the Lower School Director and the Middle School Director: 

Assist IT with the management of the iPad and Macbook programs 

Educational Requirements and Experience

Bachelors Degree Required

Independent School Teaching Experience preferred but not required.
