St. John’s College High School in Washington, D.C. is currently seeking a Technology Integration Facilitator. St. John’s is committed to innovative teaching and learning utilizing the highest level of educational technology resources. This individual is responsible for managing hardware and software for the school’s 1:1 iPad program for the student body and assisting faculty in their use of the device.

 

Specific Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

Distribution of equipment to participants; Collection, decommission, and shipping of equipment at the end of the lease term; Managing software licenses; Installing and redeeming codes for applications; Performing initial hardware setup for new devices; Oversight of JAMF/Casper database and management system

This individual will be the first and most important contact with students when it comes to troubleshooting their device, issues and other challenges. There are also growth opportunities in expanding proficiency and understanding in student-centered educational technology.

Qualified Candidates Must Possess:

  • B.A. in a related field with a minimum of 1 year experience working with tablet/mobile devices and a familiarity with their hardware/software systems

  • Desire to work in a school committed to Catholic, Lasallian values ?

  • Working knowledge of software in a wide range of areas, including, but not ?limited to, multimedia audio, video, web & photos, and core software tools

  • Familiarity with Apple’s iOS system is preferred

  • Ability to diagnose hardware/software problems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to efficiently problem solve and think on her/his feet ?

  • Strong organizational skills as the individual addresses the needs of over 650 devices at some points.

  • Desire to continually expand knowledge of educational technology resources
