Innovation & Technology Coach (Lower School)

The Innovation & Technology Coach will work to promote teacher innovation and reflection on the Wornall Campus (Early Years -5th grade). In order to meet this purpose, the Coach will provide personalized support based on the goals and identified needs of teachers, both individually and in small groups, along with working with the Middle School and Upper School Technology Coaches to deliver a unified approach to technology integration and device management. Position begins August 2019.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Min. 3-5 years experience Education
Demonstrated and working knowledge of a variety of educational technology
Demonstrated and proven knowledge of innovative instructional strategies in Early Childhood and Elementary School settings
An ability to provide “absence of threat”, and create authentic relationships with teachers to help coach them towards continued professional growth
Demonstrated leadership traits and abilities; proven ability to gain respect of peers.
