Information Systems Manager
Incumbent has strategic accountability for establishing the current and long-range vision of the UC Irvine Health IT infrastructure, and IT strategy aimed at keeping the organization on the forefront of change. As a key advisor to the CIO, incumbent in this position provides direction, technical advisement, and authorization to carry out major changes to infrastructure and IT processes or procedures. Incumbent promotes the consistency and standardization of the organization's present technology and the dissemination of technological information throughout the organization.
Salary Range:
Rate Minimum $169,100.00
Maximum $400,300.00
Required Qualifications:

10+ years' experience managing and/or directing an IT operation of complex size and scale, including support of operations applications.

Ability to conduct research into hardware and software-related issues and products.

Ability to drive and implement solutions created using abstract concepts.

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Ability to successfully drive people teams, process and technology change initiatives in a dynamic and complex operating environment.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related field.

Effective at prioritizing multiple initiatives with varying levels of significance and time frames.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Experience in operations, infrastructure, application development, information security, and IT controls implementation.

Experience leading and mentoring a collaborative team.

Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management.

In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to IT.

Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

Specific knowledge of product lifecycle management, sourcing, DC operations, planning and supply chain.

Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.

Strong project management experience.

Successful experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of infrastructure software solutions.

Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies as adopted by the organization.

Understanding of leading technological advancements and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies.

Working knowledge of computer systems characteristics, features, and integration capabilities.
