Technology Coach

The Technology Coach is a full time specialist position that is part of the school wide Educational Technology Services (ETS) department. The position is responsible for overseeing the support of learning through technology integration with a focus on teaching, modelling, collaborating, and coaching, in order to affect change. The individual is good listener with excellent social skills who works closely with staff to build relationships that establish trust. He/she holds depth and breadth of pedagogical knowledge and strategies to help teachers who are at various stages of technology integration. The tech coach is recognized by the staff as a strong teacher who builds awareness and keeps everyone up to date with current ideas and trends that impact learning. 

Requirements:

• Degree in instructional technology;

• Minimum of 5 years experience as classroom teacher;

• Understanding by Design expert preferably with trainer experience;

• Preferred: Experience in international school setting, expertise with ESOL students, experience with religious education;
