Technology Instructor (Part-Time)

Calvary Christian School seeks to teach the whole child the whole truth in every aspect of our school. We are seeking an experienced and talented person to lead the part-time Upper School Technology position for the 2019-2020 school year. Successful candidates will demonstrate:

• An understanding and interest in teaching technology through a biblical worldview

• Ability to work collaboratively with school administration, teaching teams and department colleagues

• Ability to effectively and regularly communicate with students, parents, peers, and community

• Competency in teaching students with wide-ranging academic abilities

• Ability to explore and execute technology in the classroom as an instructional tool to enhance learning

• Additional skills that contribute to school life: the ability and eagerness to lead or assist in co-curricular activities (such as spelling bee, athletics, or school clubs)

• Maintain ACSI teaching certification

Qualifications

• Content area expertise by having completed an educational technology degree 

• Strong Christian testimony

• High proficiency in Google Drive

• Familiarity and proficiency in educational software and applications

• Experience and/or training in technology instruction

• Strong planning and organizational skills

• High standards of professional conduct, support of the Christian mission of Calvary Christian School
