We seek to hire a highly qualified individual for a full-time position as a PC Support Specialist, level III.  This is a 12-month position working 40 hours per week.  Hourly pay rate range is $40-$45/hour.

Position Summary

The Personal Computer Support Specialist provides remote and on-site support to PC users; installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and analysis of PC and systems issues/requests, in support of The Harker School’s requirements for efficient and effective information systems management. This incumbent troubleshoots and resolves complex user application problems, provides functional and technical expertise to all business units and participates in various projects.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of technical support for end user devices. Ability to apply this knowledge consistently across at least two domains (For example: Windows OS and Mac OS or deep understanding of HP printer management and Xerox printer management). 

  • Solves problems using well-established procedures.

  • Capable of discerning the need for and finding additional sources of help (forums, technical manuals, etc.)

  • Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures. Acts continuously to extend and expand skills. Can complete moderately difficult assignments without supervision or direct assistance. Capable of diagnosing some novel problems. Assignments can be broad and require ingenuity to develop solutions. Capable of creating procedure documentation.

  • Working knowledge and experience with InTune/InTune for Education, SCCM, MDT and PaperCut.
