Instructional Technology Teacher
The Instructional Technology Teacher provides instruction to students in technology in order to facilitate its use in the classroom which will increase student use and knowledge. This position reports to the Upper School Principal. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Planning and Facilitating Teaching and Learning

Provides training to teachers to ensure integration of student computer competencies

Participates in the development of activities that help integrate technology into various curriculum areas

Maintains current knowledge of technology and instructional practices that relate to the use of technology

Provides resource information relating to new techniques and practices that relate to the use of technology

Assists in the development and implementation of technology professional development.
Continuing the iConnect Initiative

Works with the Upper School leadership to ensure that technology initiatives are regularly evaluated and consistent with Lee-Scott Academy’s technology goals

Participates in conferences and professional development opportunities to maintain current knowledge of best practices in the area of technology integration

Maintains a standard of cutting edge instructional technology for classroom integration
Technology Teacher

Teaches technology skills to grades 6-7

Plans a technology curriculum

Evaluates each student’s growth in knowledge and skills

Communicates with teachers on student progress as necessary

Support the Mission of Lee-Scott Academy
-
Any other appropriate duties as requested by the Head of School or Upper School Principal.
