Job Description
The Basilica School of Saint Mary is looking for a motivated and talented IT Coordinator to be the primary technical resource for school faculty and staff, pursuant of educational purposes.
The coordinator monitors the overall condition of, inventories, and updates the school technologies, coordinates programs and technologies used in the classrooms and community, and supports and/or trains the faculty and staff in order to help meet their technology goals.
The coordinator also interfaces collaboratively with the outside company that the school has contracted to maintain and manage the school's network, hardware and other on-going technology needs.
The IT Coordinator collaborates with faculty and staff to facilitate Blended Learning Strategies in the classroom, including reviewing programs and applications and making recommendations. The coordinator works with teachers in the implementation of a 1:1 i-pad program for students. It is recommended that the coordinator holds a GAFE Certification and Apple Teacher Certification.
The IT Coordinator will also serve as the liason for Power School, our main database. He/she should be able to collaborate with the administrative team with ease and help troubleshoot problems associated with technological work tasks which affect the entire school community, such as report cards, attendance, data from testing, etc.
