Qualifications
REQUIRED
-
Minimum of 2 years of direct supervisory experience.
-
Experience working a 24x7x365 call center / service desk environment.
-
Experience providing leadership and management skills to provide direction and a sense of purpose to departmental staff.

Experience leading work groups with internal and external customers with the goal of improving the customer experience.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
PREFERRED

Familiarity with the administrative and/or development operations of an academic medical center.

Knowledge of institutional standards, computer systems and office automation software.

ITIL foundation certification
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT

This position is primarily responsible for the hours of 3:00 PM ' 11:30 PM Monday ' Friday; however, this person must be able to work extra hours (possible weekends), dependent on project, staffing or institutional needs.

Responsibilities
The Information Systems Supervisor (Information Systems Supervisor 2 ) is responsible for managing Business Technical Support professionals serving the entire UC Davis Health System enterprise. These associates provide business and clinical application and infrastructure support to staff, physicians, administrators, and volunteers 24x7x365 by staffing the UC Davis Health System Service Desk.
The Information Systems Supervisor will be responsible for high-level, complex administrative analysis for all entities within the Health System. Under limited direction the Incumbent will provide operational leadership to technical staff and support for the effective use of computers, software and networking to include, system administration, staff training and problem resolution. Facilitate support initiatives across all service lines and departments to meet the needs of our clinicians, patients, and other customers.
