K - 8 STEAM Director
Roland Park Country School believes that an integrated approach to the STEAM fields prepares our Lower and Middle School girls to be innovators, designers, engineers and leaders. We are seeking a full-time K–8 STEAM Director who is enthusiastic in supporting and implementing the creative use of technology and an interdisciplinary approach to teaching and learning. The director will be responsible for leading, mentoring and supporting faculty and students in inquiry and project-based learning, integrating STEAM initiatives throughout the curriculum, and making use of our innovation labs. Core qualifications include a growth mindset, a collaborative spirit and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree, experience with robotics, coding, and computer science, and have taught for 3-5 years in Lower and/or Middle School. This role will include both administrative and teaching responsibilities, and the director will work closely with the Upper School STEM Institute Director.
