We realize that the key to a successful Christian school is its staff. We are seeking applicants who are professionally qualified, who work well with children, and who, by the pattern of their lives, are Christian role models (Luke 6:40).
Heritage Christian Academy is looking for part time help (15-20 hours per week) with end user support and network troubleshooting at our north-downtown Bothell campus. Typical duties include:

Making sure faculty and staff receive great customer service.

Performing desktop software troubleshooting, updates, software installations, and replacements.

Troubleshoot wireless and wired network issues (Ubiquiti).

Creation, modification, and removal of user accounts and security groups.
-
Printing and scanning maintenance and troubleshooting.

Basic maintenance of Active Directory, file shares, system backups, firewall, and hypervisors.
Requirements
This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with experience setting up small residential or workgroup LANs and looking to gain experience in a larger environment. Desired skills:

Excellent interpersonal relations

Self-starter with a desire to learn new skills and take on new challenges

Demonstrable experience troubleshooting DHCP, DNS, and Layer 2 or Layer 3 network issues

Conceptual understanding of Active Directory, Office 365, backup strategies, and Hypervisors

Ability and willingness to admit they don’t know something and ask for help (technical escalation resources are available)

Network: Ubiquiti switches and wireless, pfsense firewall

Desktops: Windows 7 – 10

Servers: Windows Server 2012R2, Windows MultiPoint Server, and Ubuntu

Hypervisors: KVM/Proxmox
