Instructional Technologist
Description
An Instructional Technologist for Colorado State University Online (Division of Continuing Education) works closely with instructional designers and faculty members to integrate educational technologies into online courses. This position will promote and communicate best practices in the adoption and use of technologies while providing exceptional support and user experiences to students, faculty and staff. The successful candidate will possess an in-depth and current understanding of educational technology related to teaching and learning in blended and online courses, as well as experience providing technical support and troubleshooting of educational technologies and learning management systems. The Instructional Technologist will report directly to the Senior Instructional Designer at CSU Online and will join a team that works collaboratively to support the teaching and learning mission of the University. Requirements
*Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Educational Technology or closely related field plus 5 years’ experience OR *Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Educational Technology, Instructional Systems or closely related field *Experience supporting and administering a learning management system (LMS), preferably Canvas. *Experience providing technical support and troubleshooting of digital technologies in an academic environment. *The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States by the proposed start date; Continuing Education/CSU Online will not provide visa sponsorship for this position. |
