Technology Support Assistant
Location: 21st street Campus
Hours: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM Mon – Fri (except for the weeks between March 29 and April 9)
Duties and Responsibilities include:

Assisting in the day-to-day operation of the Crossroads Information Services Department
-
Working under the direction of other Crossroads Information Services Team members.

Troubleshooting Apple and Windows workstations for students and staff.
-
Troubleshooting network connections for students and staff.
-
Troubleshooting printer and scanner issues including replacing toner as needed.
-
Assisting with the deployment and tracking of equipment.
-
Moving and setting up workstations as needed (some crawling under desks, lifting, and climbing of stairs is required)
-
Setting up audio visual equipment and supporting users as needed.
-
Working on different campuses as required.
-
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills include:
-
Knowledge of Windows and Apple Computers.
-
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other educational software products.
-
Patience working with children and young adults.
-
Good communication skills with adults and children ages 5-18
-
Following directions.
-
Working as part of a team.
-
Meeting deadlines.
Physical requirements:
-
Must be able to climb stairs and lift or carry up to 40 pounds
-
Must be able to crawl under desks and work in small spaces
-
Must be able to type and use a computer keyboard
Other Requirements:
-
Must meet Crossroads’ employment eligibility requirements, including fingerprinting, TB testing and weekly Covid testing if required
