Network and Systems Administrator

The Boys’ Latin School of Maryland (BL), an independent K-12 boys’ school, seeks a full-time Network and Systems Administrator for immediate hire. The Network and Systems Administrator provides strategic and hands-on provisioning, maintenance, and support of IT systems, infrastructure, services, and operations. In alignment with the Director of Technology, the Network and Systems Administrator will remain up to date with current and emerging technologies to achieve optimal performance consistent with industry best practices.

Ideal candidates thrive in a structured, dynamic, and professional environment and have a demonstrated minimum of three consecutive years of experience as a systems or network administrator in an enterprise network environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administer the existing hybrid Windows Server and MS Azure platforms and ecosystem

• Administer and configure the existing G Suite for Education platform and ecosystem

• Administer and maintain network infrastructure, systems, appliances, availability, resource utilization, capacity planning, and life cycle

• Maintain Internet and telecommunications (VOIP, etc.) systems in collaboration with respective service providers

• Provide timely tech support to faculty and staff as needed

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned
