Technology Support Analyst
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop technical specifications for new products, reports, and processes, as well as documentation and training, to meet the requirements of the end-users.

Serve as a resource to the Office of the Registrar staff to diagnose and resolve technical software issues, research questions and issues, when necessary, and advise users on the appropriate action to take to resolve issues. Redirect problems to appropriate sources when necessary.

Manage technical projects involving own work and under minimal supervision.

Work with large databases in order to locate problems and/or develop new features.

Update, troubleshoot and maintain the Office of the Registrar website as well as related content on other sites.

Provide support for the testing and development of new products, as well as existing software products and upgrades.
Minimum Experience / Education:
Required Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree in Computer Information Technology, computer Technology Integration, Networking Technology, or related area and one year of experience in the information technology field related to the position's role; or Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year experience in the information technology field related to the position's role; or Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, math or engineering or related technical degree from an appropriately accredited institution; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Journey level required an additional one year of experience. Advanced level required an additional two years of experience.
University Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from a two year technical college with a major in computer science, information technology or related area and two years in the information technology field related to the position's role; or graduation from a four year college or university and two years experience in the information technology field related to the position's role; or graduation from a four year college or university with a major in computer science or information technology or related degree and one year experience in the information technology field related to the position's role. Related information technology experience may be substituted year for year for the required education.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:

Graduation from a four-year college or university with a major in computer science or information technology related degree with at least two years' work experience in the information technology area.

Experience engaging or working with Higher Ed, specifically offices within Enrollment Management.

Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, SML, JavaScript, PHP and/or related languages is essential.

Familiarity with Ellucian's Banner Student, Degree Works, Self-Service Banner, Developer Studio, WebFocus Application Studio, SQL Developer, and Hyland's Perceptive Content.

Familiarity with equivalent tools and solutions with a willingness and ability to acquire new skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast paced, data driven environment to solve complex problems and to facilitate leadership in making high-level decisions.

Superlative verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to relate technical information both to functional users and colleagues in the information technology area.

Time management skills to work independently and handle multiple tasks, prioritizing work appropriately.
