Position Summary
The Data Systems Manager supervises numerous data systems and networks. Duties include organizing, storing, and analyzing school data as professionally and effectively as possible, while also safeguarding the schools security and confidentiality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide institutional support for campus data systems, Senior Systems, Blackbaud, SFTP, and other attributable data systems.

Manage database user accounts and profile data for students, faculty/staff, and parents.

Coordinate and oversee and document yearly processes.

Support data integrations between various database products used at CLS:

Senior Systems to: Finalsite, Magnus Health; LMS; BBConnect, etc.

Ensure data integrity between systems.

Provide data reports from aggregated sources as requested.

Provide support for data compliance initiatives (e.g. GDPR, security.)

Support office staff in charge of data for that department.

Act as technical support with campus-wide data software systems, both new and existing

Create and execute data import and export transfer protocols to ensure every integrated systems data remains current and up to date; including but not limited to transferring personally identifiable user data between systems, ensuring automatic data transfers occur without error or delay, and creating queries and reports to verify data integrity;

Develop tutorials, identify online resources and design and deliver training workshops for end-users, including but not limited to faculty and staff

Support end-users of data systems on campus with all functions of the School Management System, including providing timely guidance, technical support, and resources to maximize productivity and functionality.

Support parent volunteer associations, faculty and offices campus-wide in functions such as online enrollment, data collection and online forms, school directories, billing, IT projects.

Collaborate with Information Technology Support (ITS) staff on tasks as needed.

Work outside normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, and early mornings to perform any needed upgrades or enhancements;
