User Experience Designer
Ross School and Ross Institute seeks an experienced, creative and proactive User Experience Designer (UED). This individual will be charged with the enhancement of user experience in the design of an assortment of digital media. Fundamentally, the UED will be responsible for ensuring responsive website design and mobile application design and development, consistent with Ross Institute and Ross School branding standards. Further, this individual will work with outside consultants, internal management and project teams on developing innovative and interactive modes to convey data and information in various formats – including presentations and commercialized digital platforms, such as the Ross Learning System.
In addition to creative design, the UED will be required to conduct user research; create wireframes, site maps, user interfaces and comp designs in collaboration with design and content teams; develop templates and syle sheets; and test concepts, perform analyses, and assist with user acceptance testing. Preferred candidates will have experience customizing user experience platforms (e.g., CentralPoint); proficiency in HTML, CSS and prototyping software with a basic knowledge of JQuery and JavaScript; expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; and be a self-directed individual capable working in a fast-based but team-oriented environment.
