The CIO will oversee the school's technology infrastructure, with a vision towards the future of teaching and learning and daily operations of a school committed to excellence and innovation. The CIO will create and oversee a dedicated and talented team and will serve as a key strategic partner for faculty, staff, development, admission, administration, parents and the board. The ideal candidates will have leadership experience in both education and in the technology field; he/she will be positioned to ask bold questions and envision ways to continue to distinguish Tower Hill within the city of Wilmington, the region and the country.

A keen eye and expertise in the area of updating systems across divisions and departments of the school are also priorities. The CIO will work collaboratively with school leaders and will advocate for changes in curriculum and program in order to advance the mission of the school and enhance students' experience.

The CIO will oversee all administrative aspects of technology programs and services in the school, including phone, security and related communication aspects. To this end, the CIO will effectively allocate and manage resources to support strategic priorities and initiatives, providing leadership in the allocation and purchase of new equipment, software and related budget oversight.

While an advanced degree in Educational Technology and experience with a wide range of software, hardware and operating systems are preferred, most important is a service mindset with an ambitious, "can do" attitude. The successful candidate will be willing and adept at working on both the granular and tactical and strategic levels.
