Technology Teacher and Support Specialist

SSSAS is seeking an individual to fill a Technology Teacher and Support Specialist position who will help teach courses, provide professional development, and support IT directives. The candidate should be a high-energy self starter with an ability to successfully prioritize and multi-task. This 12-month employee will work closely with the Information Technology Director and the Director of Technology Education on various technology initiatives.

Preferred candidates will have: educational and/or work experience in the STEAM field (Robotics, 3D Printing, & Engineering); fluency with educational technologies; technical proficiency of multiple platforms (Mac OS, Windows, Chrome); a deep-level understanding of networks, phone systems, and school website platforms; and the ability to learn and adapt to new programs and practices.
