IT Programmer and Help Desk
Full-time, permanent position.
This is a full-time, permanent role for an experienced self-starter to program large enterprise applications.
Applying your strong combination of technical troubleshooting and interpersonal skills, you will split your time evenly between programming and help desk/network maintenance functions. Ours is a small, close-knit team of IT professionals, so expect plenty of variety as you contribute where necessary to get the job done. You will provide programming for an in-house, comprehensive student records system, so any experience you have working in a K-12 educational environment would be beneficial. A self starter, you are always on the look-out for ways to help out our user base.
For you to be successful in this IT Programmer/Help Desk position, your skills must include:
Computer programming (PHP preferred)
Hardware troubleshooting
Windows OS troubleshooting (7 and 8 preferred)
Microsoft Office (2013 and Office365 preferred)
Basic network knowledge and troubleshooting
Strong interpersonal skills
Ideally, you would also have:
Software requirement collection and business analyst skills
Help Desk experience
Software testing experience
Technical writing experience
Bonus points if you can impress us with your experience in:
Programming large enterprise applications
VMWare ESXi server administration
Linux OS administration (Ubuntu preferred)
