Full-Time Middle School Computer Teacher

The school is looking for an experienced enthusiastic teacher who interacts with students in a creative manner. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a commitment to and experience teaching in a diverse, multicultural environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a discipline applicable to the teaching position.
3-years’ experience teaching computer technology or a related Texas Education Agency Certification.
Ideal Candidate:

Demonstrate knowledge of content area in the approved curriculum: word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, desktop publishing, programming, graphics editing, web design, 3D modeling and robotics.
Native-level Spanish or French proficiency preferred.
Experience teaching in a diverse, multicultural environment
Interacts easily and effectively with students
Be a team member
Has experience with and is committed to a rigorous academic program
Capable of dealing with multiple teaching grades
