Upper School Computer Science Teacher
The Position
The Park School of Baltimore has an opening for a computer science teacher or graduate student with teaching experience to run one section of an elective computer science class over two semesters for students in grades 10 through 12. The emphasis is on programming, and working with students who may be at varying levels of experience from introductory to high level programmers.
Qualifications
Formal training in computer sciences (B.S./B.A. minimum).
Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Java, C++, Python.
Experience with PC and Mac platforms.
Experience working with adolescents, teaching an introductory computer science class, or TA work in an introductory computer science class for undergraduates.
Additional information:
The applicant would need to be available to teach in a flexible block schedule.
