Sandy Spring Friends School is a coeducational, college-preparatory day and boarding school for students in grades PK-12. Technology Integration Specialist
(Full-Time, 12 month, Immediate Opening)
SSFS seeks a technology integration specialist to work with Upper School teachers to integrate technologies with teaching and curricula.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, collaborative teacher/learner who brings a rich skill set to a cooperative professional learning setting. Strong candidates will have high school teaching experience, demonstrated expertise in using technology in humanities and STEM classrooms, and sufficient technical knowledge to be part of the School’s overall technology support team.
Qualifications: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and classroom teaching experience, preferably at the high school level. An advanced degree is desirable. SSFS is a 1:1 school utilizing iPads, so familiarity with using mobile devices in classroom settings is highly desirable. Experience in an independent school is preferred but not required. Knowledge of Quakerism and Quaker practices is helpful but not required.
