Computer Science and Programming Teacher
The Computer Science & Programming teacher at Maclay School is a charismatic adult who is committed to a child centered and differentiated approach to student learning and achievement. This mentor-teacher is creative, hardworking, and flexible enough to move seamlessly between teaching AP Computer Science to our top students and introductory computer skills and programming to our middle school students. This mentor-teacher will be a part of a team that collaborates to prepare all of our students for a rapidly changing world. Maclay teachers strive to be student advocates, demonstrate life-long learning, and are constantly seeking the best way to motivate peers and students by setting high expectations and leading by example. A degree in the subject area, and a minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience in similar college preparatory institutions preferred.
