Web Content Manager
Episcopal High School is seeking a web content manager who will play an important role in communicating the mission and strategic objectives of Episcopal High School through the website and social media platforms. The web content manager will support day-to-day content and digital strategy, and will be responsible for updating, styling, and publishing all content for the School’s website and electronic communications. The web content manager will field requests from across the School to refine and update existing content and create new content where needed. The web content manager will ensure accuracy of information and consistency of message to internal and external audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, edit, and update content (text and graphics) for website in a CMS environment
Liaise with outside developer to work on CMS-specific updates or issues
Serve as the School’s Help Desk for external site support
Participate in the development and management of online strategies
Produce the School’s electronic newsletters and broadcasts
Create and manage web and social media analytic reports that measure impact of the School’s communication strategy
Manage the School’s streaming video service, Bleachers
The ideal candidate is a creative, strategic thinker who is both highly self-motivated and technically skilled, with a proven ability to take complex projects from start to finish. The web content manager must be an engaged presence in the EHS community, forging strong relationships with faculty, staff, students, parents, and alumni. The web content manager reports to the director of communications and will be an integral member of the Communications Office, working collaboratively within the Advancement Office, and with other departments on campus.
The successful candidate will have:
A bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in web content management
Expertise working with CMS platforms; expertise in Whipple Hill preferred
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Adobe Creative Suite tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Experience with SEO and website management tools, e.g., Google Analytics
Strong writing and editing skills, high levels of initiative, proven ability to work independently, good time-management skills, and ability to work within tight deadlines
