Technology Coordinator/Teacher
All Souls Catholic School in South San Francisco is a Preschool-8 school serving a diverse community that values quality education in a contemporary world, with emphasis on Catholic values and morals. The school community is seeking a qualified Technology Coordinator/Teacher to begin 2016-2017 school year.
The applicant must have a passion for creating a collaborative environment for learning in the classroom, where students will be able to integrate the use of technology into their learning. The applicant will be required to teach Technology to Grades K through 8 and provide Professional Development to teachers for technology integration into the classroom. The applicant will oversee the school web site, the school information system and manage the one to one lap top program. The applicant will be supportive of the Catholic Ethos of the school and participate in school activities and in Professional Learning Communities.
Qualifications and job description:
•Candidates must possess an undergraduate 4-year degree
•A California Single Subject Teaching Credential - Technology (or a reciprocal State Teaching Credential) is preferred. OR
•A California Multi Subject Teaching Credential (or a reciprocal State Teaching Credential) is preferred
•Experience in teaching Technology curriculum is also preferred
•Candidates should be willing to be able to work in a team environment supporting extra curricular activities
•Classroom management skills
•Teaching experience with children
•Demonstrated communication skills with parents, faculty, and students
•Ability to utilize technology in a classroom environment and to integrate technology on a daily basis
•Commitment to excellence and rigor
•Manage the school web site, the school information system and trouble shoot network issues.
•Familiar with ISTE, the NETS and Common Core curriculum
•A passion to work with children and a sense of humor
