Design Teacher

Le Jardin Academy is seeking a qualified Design teacher, who is experienced working with middle and high school students, to deliver the IB MYP Design program. The program focuses on problem solving and innovation, using the Design Cycle. Middle School course content may include multimedia creation, computer programming/robotics, and mechanical/electrical applications. High School course content is focused on mechanical/electrical engineering and robotics. Also integral to the course are research skills, digital software and applications, and hand/power tool safety. Candidates should have experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; a Master’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is preferred. Knowledge and/or experience of the IB Middle Years and Diploma Programs is a plus. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
