Burr and Burton Academy seeks an energetic and innovative Database and Administrative Systems Specialist (DASS) to join a dynamic high school community. This pivotal person helps the tech team leverage, integrate, and optimize a suite of administrative technologies, including Blackbaud's K-12 Education, Raiser’s Edge, and Financial Edge, to support a mission of empowering students in a 21st-century educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Partner with faculty and staff to identify challenges and opportunities, implementing innovative technology solutions.

  • System Integration & Optimization: Develop efficient workflows between Blackbaud systems and custom tools for seamless data management and reporting.

  • Data Visualization: Create intuitive dashboards and views to support key initiatives such as outreach, scheduling, and decision-making.

  • Administrative Technology Leadership: Stay informed on trends and model best practices in technology use.

  • Creative Problem-Solving: Solve unexpected challenges with ingenuity and adaptability.

Qualifications

  • Problem-Solving Proficiency: Expertise in analyzing challenges and implementing solutions.

  • Technical Skills: Experience with Blackbaud systems, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Power Apps, SQL, Ruby, PHP, CSS, and JavaScript. System integration expertise is a plus.

  • Collaborative Communicator: Empathetic and approachable, with strong facilitation and presentation skills.
