The successful candidate will have an ICT background in education and the ability to integrate education and technology. He/she will be passionate about the use of technology to enhance teaching and learning.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

Spearheading and leading ICT Integration and use of iPads in Foundation Phase;
Enhancing teacher development by engaging with teachers in the effective use of ICT for teaching and learning;
Consulting with teachers as they plan instruction to ensure the incorporation of appropriate media and technology materials into daily teaching;
Developing training programmes to equip and support teachers with the use of ICT and particularly their use of ICT in their lessons and administration;
Reporting to the Academic Heads and Head of ICT Support Services on progress and obstacles in order to assist in successful staff engagement
Providing technical support for software related and ICT systems used within the school, including latest iOS and Mac platforms;
Managing the IT labs and iPad banks at the two Prep Schools
Requirements include:

Suitable professional qualification/s
Previous experience in a school environment
Experience with Windows, Apple Mac and iPads
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with strong presentation skills
A passion for ICT and education
Being creative and innovative
Proof of registration with SACE
Be able to subscribe to the Christian ethos and mission of the School and a willingness to participate in the broader life of the school.
