Director of Instructional Technology

Morgan Academy is an independent private college preparatory school located in Selma, AL with approximately 480 students currently in Kindergarten through 12th grade. Morgan Academy promotes: academic excellence, development of creative and athletic talents, and social growth and responsibility.
The Director of Instructional Technology assists teachers and students of Morgan Academy in the effective use of technology in education. The responsibilities include:
·        Work in cooperation with Headmaster and teachers in the selection of instructional software necessary to accomplish instructional objectives
·        Assist in planning, purchasing, and implementing of hardware and software necessary to accomplish instructional goals
·        Assist in technology professional development planning for faculty
·        Assist in long range planning for school technology goals
·        Plan iOS deployment
·        Manage and inventory all iOS devices.
·        Manage school content filtering system and learning management system
