Director of Technology and Library Media Center

The Village School of North Bennington is seeking a Director of Technology and Media Center.  The Village School of North Bennington is an independent day school for children in grades Pre-K through 6.  The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Managing and maintening the school technology infrastructure including wireless network, servers, and printers.

Manage the school's technology equipment and software including Ipads, Laptops, towers, and printers.

Work closely with our teaching staff to ensure smooth integration of technology services into the instructional program on a daily basis.

Manage and maintian the school's administrative technology equipment and software.

Maintain and manage the school's website and social media connections.

Manage the school's E-Rate participation

Manage the school's library and media center.  Work directly with students in the library.  Support the staff's integration of library resources into the instructional program.

Other duties as assigned by the Head of School.

The Village School of North Bennington is seeking the following from a successful candidate:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technology and/or library sciences.

Demonstrated experiences working with an educational technology infrastructure.

Demonstrated experiences working directly with elementary school children and teachers preferably in a library setting
