The Greenwich Country Day School has an immediate opening for a Technology Department Administrative Assistant. Reporting to the Director of Technology, the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support for all aspects of the Technology Department. This is a full-time, year-round position with a competitive compensation and benefit package.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide a warm welcome and assistance to all visitors to the Technology Department
  • Provide accurate and timely communication, internally with students, faculty and staff, and externally with vendors and parents
  • Provide phone coverage and respond to email inquiries within a 24-hour period
  • Process department invoices and order supplies
  • Trouble shoot basic tech issues with students and staff
  • Work collaboratively with the Facilities Department to coordinate Technology needs for campus events

Qualifications:

 

  • Strong computer and database skills
  • Experience with FileMaker and Google Apps a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, see tasks through to completion, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Enthusiasm for interacting with adolescent students and faculty
  • Professional, personable demeanor coupled with a sense of humor
