Technology Teacher

We have an opening for a talented and innovative teacher to teach English, Language Arts, and Technology. This position will begin for the 2017-18 academic year.
Position Responsibilities:
● Teach Middle and/or Upper School English and Language Arts Classes.
● Teach Middle School technology classes.
● Teach Upper School Yearbook class.
● Ability to teach AP English Language and Composition is a plus.
Attributes Required:
● Bachelor’s Degree in English.
● Full time teaching experience is preferred, but not required.
● Coursework in technology.
● Student-centered approach.
● Energetic, creative, and self-motivated.
● Possessing a collaborative spirit and a growth mindset.
● Effective verbal and written communication skills.
● Must be proficient in working with students 6th-12th grade.
● Ability to successfully interface with students, colleagues, parents, and administrators.
● Ability to multi-task effectively.
● Openness and amenability to living in the small-town environment of Thomasville.
