Head of Educational Programs

An educational technology company in the San Francisco Bay Area is looking for a Head of Educational Programs to promote its fun and effective platform for teaching kids how to program, build great games, and develop entrepreneurial skills. If you are a passionate educator with a mission to empower a new generation of makers, this could be the job for you.  You will be in charge of developing and promoting the use of the company's educational materials and curriculum.

The Head of Educational Programs will:

• Develop an educational curriculum for developing apps and experiences on the company's platform which can be freely shared
• Set the outreach plan for landing the curriculum in third party programs such as summer camps, school programs, school based STEM clubs
• Work with summer camps and after school programs to customize this curriculum
• Connect and collaborate with educators in different disciplines
• Design, develop, and promote teachers guides and learning materials
• Teach programming skills to children and young adults
• Oversee the production of online / video materials
• Publish and promote free online video courses
• Speak at edTech and STEM conferences

• Teaching programming skills to children and young adults
